Matt Micklich
Matt joined Dominion Water & Sanitation District's Operation's Team in July of 2024 and has recently certified for the role of Chief Wastewater Operator. With more than 17 years of experience in the water and wastewater field, Matt has developed a strong background in day-to-day operations, maintenance, and team leadership.
Before beginning his career in water and wastewater, Matt earned his Associate degree in A&P mechanics and worked on a variety of aircraft. That technical foundation gave him a strong understanding of mechanical systems and problem-solving, skills that have carried over into his work in the utility operations.
Over the years, Matt has been involved in nearly every aspect of the industry, including system repairs, equipment troubleshooting, compliance sampling, lab testing, process control and improvements. Matt is a certified water professional through the State of Colorado, holding licenses in water, wastewater, distribution, and collections.
Originally from Leadville, Colorado, he has called the Littleton area home for more than 15 years. In his free time, Matt enjoys spending time with his kids and cheering them on in their various sports and activities. Matt Also enjoys hunting, fishing and the outdoors.
